Analogue Tube Envy

We had some fun over the holidayz gathering some parts and modeling some parts to create an analogue tube amplifier. We love old analogue gear and so this was a passion project to get the glow of the tunes to sing (couldn’t resist). Or, to speak to you (failed to resist again). Hope you enjoy these images.

Wow!! I agree with Josh - that green finish is amazing! I love everything about this. Thanks for sharing with us!

Just… WOW. The lighting and reflections on this are absolutely brilliant. The attention to detail is remarkable. The light bulbs are what I love the most. How the light reflects off the outer glass and its not just generic white reflection but has the colors of the surface reflecting the green back onto it and the warm orange/yellow glow from the light itself reflecting off the inside of the glass and onto the surface is just mesmerizing to look at for the 2nd and last renders of this. It’s so clean and marvelous to just stare at.

Thank you Joseph! It was a fun project.

Looks incredible! I wouldn’t quickly pick a green in combination with the bulbs but it looks amazing! Love the lighting and the details as the spikey feet as well!

Thanks, Oscar! Yeh, green. Gotcha. But, tube envy; green with envy…
